Homework workflows let authorized school staff publish work for selected classes and let students review their assigned tasks. Use the correct academic term, class, and subject so students receive the right activity.

Before you begin

  • Confirm the class, subject, and intended recipients before publishing.

Open My Homework with a student account to confirm the right task is visible.

  1. Set up homework types

An authorized administrator opens Homework Types and creates the categories the school uses, such as assignment or practice work.

  2. Create homework

Open Homework, choose the class, subject, teacher, and relevant students or group, then enter the instructions, dates, and any supported attachment.

  3. Review before publishing

Confirm the intended class, due date, instructions, and file. Publish or assign the task using the page action.

  4. Follow submissions

Review the student activity and submission status from the authorized teacher or examination workflow. Add feedback or a grade when the page supports it.

Published work is visible to its assigned students

Check the recipients carefully before selecting the publish or assign action.

Student view

Students use My Homework to read published instructions, open available attachments, and submit work through the options shown. Students should follow the due date and file requirements displayed by the school.

If a task is missing, verify its class, subject, publication status, and student assignment.

Attachments

Upload only school-related files that students are allowed to access. Check that the file opens for its intended class before relying on it as an instruction or assessment resource.
