Reports and analytics summarize school records for the scope available to the signed-in role. Use the filters to describe a specific campus, academic term, class, or date period before drawing conclusions.
Before you begin
- Know the question you need answered and select the smallest scope that answers it.
Record the report’s campus, term, filters, and retrieval date with any decisions based on it.
-
Open the appropriate report
Choose View Reports for a defined report or View Analytics for available summary dashboards.
-
Set the scope
Select the campus, term, class, date range, and status filters that match the question. Check that the selected scope includes the intended records.
-
Review the output
Check the totals and sample records against the source student, finance, or academic pages. Use the page’s export option only if available to your role.
-
Share carefully
Save or share the report only with school personnel authorized to receive those student or financial details.
Store and share exported records only through school-approved channels.
Interpreting a report
A report reflects its selected filters and the current state of the source records. An unexpected total can result from a campus, term, date range, or status filter.
For an operational decision, confirm important figures against the relevant source records before acting.
Privacy
Student lists, guardian details, and financial exports can contain personal information. Follow school retention and sharing rules and keep downloaded files in approved storage.
Recommended next step
