A sibling linkage groups student records that the school has verified as siblings. A linkage is a school-maintained relationship; it does not automatically prove a parent’s identity or create a parent login.
Before you begin
- Use the shared selector to verify every student and confirm the sibling relationship under school policy.
Reopen the linkage and confirm its members and assigned parent list.
-
Open Sibling Linkage
Use Administration > Sibling Linkage. Confirm the institution and campus scope shown for your account.
-
Start a linkage
Create a linkage and use the shared student selector to add at least two eligible students. Search carefully and verify each selected student’s name and identifier.
-
Review and save the group
Check the full member list and confirm the sibling relationship using the school’s records. Save the linkage and verify the group appears in the linkage list.
-
Assign a parent to the linkage
Open the linkage’s Assign Parent action, search for an existing parent by CNIC or register a new parent, then assign that parent to the group. The parent access applies to the linked students.
Assign parents to an active sibling linkage when its students share the same verified guardian.
Single students
A student who is not in a sibling linkage can receive a parent assignment directly from the student row menu. A linked student is managed from the linkage so the parent assignment covers the group.
Changing a linkage
Review active parent assignments before removing students or changing group membership. A change to the sibling group changes which students are covered by the linkage assignment.
Use a separate linkage only when the school has verified a genuinely separate sibling group. Do not create duplicate active groups to work around access restrictions.
