Portal Billing and storage are institution-level configuration areas. What is available depends on the school’s agreement, configured collection model, published storage packages, and assigned finance permissions.
Before you begin
- Use the institution’s signed or approved billing policy and confirm the effective date.
Confirm the policy status, effective date, transaction state, and institution scope.
-
Review Portal Billing
Open System Settings > Portal Billing and review the collection model, portal charge, settlement frequency, effective dates, and policy status.
-
Submit a billing or settlement change
Enter the institution’s approved values and submit them through the approval workflow shown. Check the status before assuming a change is active.
-
Review storage
Open Storage to check the institution allowance and current consumption. Use the purchase workflow only when an authorized administrator has approved additional capacity.
-
Review transactions and statements
Use Settlements, Settlement Transactions, or Financial Statements where available to check posted activity, effective dates, and reconciliation references.
Billing configuration, student charges, and settlements are institution-specific.
School-specific terms
Portal charges, eligible institution shares, and settlement timing follow the agreement and approved billing policy for that institution. There is no single charge or settlement schedule that applies to every school.
An approval request is not necessarily active billing configuration. Check the effective status displayed on the settings page.
Storage purchases
Additional storage is purchased from the package catalogue where the institution is eligible. Review package size, term, price, and the payment status before treating the allocation as available.
Store school files and exports within approved locations. Avoid uploading unnecessary duplicates or sensitive information that does not belong in the portal.
